How To Turn Juice Boxes Into Magazine Organisers

If you’re like me, buying a magazine at least once a week and disorganised, you start to end up with mini-mountains of them in your room. You then find yourself kicking these ‘mountains’ over, trying to find that article in the synonymous issue.

So it occured to me, that even if they are organised into the right timeline, when they’re piled on top of each other it only leads to me sliding out one from the middle and then placing it back on top of the pile.

And as a student, I just can’t afford to spend that extra squid on a WHSmith cardboard rectangle with a gap, which I could very much make myself.

Now, the only fault with the homemade version is that it isn’t as strong. But that doesn’t matter because all it needs is a little extra loving support of your right hand (or left) to prevent disaster.

You will need:

1. Cut down the middle of one side, and then the conjoined edges of ONE end, like so.

There does happen to be a split on the end of the juice box, but that was already there, so if it doesn’t, DO NOT cut one.

2. Cut off the flaps from the ‘top’ of the box. KEEP the flaps, they will be in use very soon.

3. Take the longest piece of flap you have and cut it so that it fits the bottom gap of the box. Tape to secure.

4. Now, we need to level the bottom floor so you’re magazines can sit comfortably. Use the small flaps and tape onto the end of the ‘floor’.

And we’re done! Good Luck with yours :)
